امید جهان نژادیان گفت: خرید تضمینی گندم در خوزستان آغاز و اولین محموله گندم توسط مراکز استاندارد در شهرستان هندیجان خریداری شده است.

او می‌گوید: استان خوزستان بیش از ۱۰ سال است در تولید گندم به عنوان بزرگترین تولیدکننده نقش مهمی در امنیت غذایی کشور ایفا کرده است و امیدواریم امسال نیز بتوانیم رتبه نخست خرید گندم در کشور را به دست بیاوریم.

مدیرکل غله و خدمات بازرگانی خوزستان گفت: امسال پیش بینی می‌شود بیش از یک میلیون و ۵۰۰ هزار تن گندم از کشاورزان خوزستانی به صورت تضمینی خریداری شود.

جهان نژادیان گفت: حدود ۴۸۰ هزار هکتار از مزارع استان زیر کشت گندم و کلزا قرار گرفته که از این میزان ۴۵۴ هزار هکتار مربوط به محصول گندم و مابقی برای کاشت کلزا اختصاص یافته است. 

به گفته او با توجه به شرایط آب و هوایی پیش بینی می‌شود امسال شاهد عملکرد مطلوبی در برداشت محصولات کشاورزی باشیم و میزان قابل ملاحظه‌ای از حاصل دسترنج کشاورزان خوزستانی به صورت خرید تضمینی در اختیار دولت و مردم قرار گیرد
